A game development company in the United States, founded by an IIT-educated capitalist, has showcased a first of its kind wearable gaming stage meant to decrease screen time for kids and increase their social collaboration and physical activities. This game is supposed to be the evolution of latest technology gadgets.

CES, every single year, leads to much fascinating and attention taking products that target to change the way we explore technology. Keeping up with the custom an IIT Mumbai graduate Rajat Dhariwal, who has originated a game developed company, MadRat Games in the US, has revealed a matchless wearable gaming platform that approaches as a first in the gaming industry.

MadRat Games

MadRat Games, a design company from Bangalore has developed SuperSuit, a wearable gaming platform created to promote physical activity. The gaming platform wishes you to quit being lazy and play games by tangibly moving around and intermingling with other players. Established by Madhumita Halder and Rajat Dhariwal, both ex-students from IIT Bombay, the company is recognized for creating informative board games. A sample of the gaming gear was revealed at CES 2016. SuperSuit is developed to enable children to expurgate on the time they spend gaping at screens by bringing the understanding of a digital game in the current world.

The idea behind

The latest tech news idea after SuperSuit isn’t precisely the first of its kind and their statement is quite controversial since it seems more like a repeated new-age form of laser tag. Obviously, it is much more than just firing infrared lasers at each other as it introduces the element of customization.

The wearable that goes by the title of SuperSuit is a gaming platform that plans to limit the screen time kids these days use playing online and other online games on PCs. The good gaming platform will inspire the kids to increase their social contact and indulge in physical actions which are a requisite of the hour.

Rajat Dhariwal recognized this wearable gaming stage as the “Future of Gaming” and goes on to call that it will help the kids to shift from screen conquered games.

He further specified “For kids, outdoor play is previously the favorite mode they are incapable of doing that due to dwindling outdoors in capitals & urban spaces and limits on them due to security concerns in suburbs. There is a growing feeling of limitation & lack of freedom, and children can claim that liberty back with SuperSuit,”

What is included?

SuperSuit includes a Vest and a Glove. The vast record the winners and displays the scores attained by the players in the form of bright, audio and haptic response while the glove uses the triggers to send rays to increase the communication between the actors.

All three modules are peddled to have a massive range of potentials when it comes to passing on actions. The SuperVest can act as an armor, display damage and scores throughout an ongoing match. It delivers a light, audio and haptic response, so when you’re hit by an enemy, you will feel tremors and hear the impact. The SuperGlove stocks several buttons on the top and sides, and could imitate firing, refilling and upgrading your weapon. It also has a branded gesture engine, which could be used to allocate maybe a Force Lightning signal to the glove. The SuperBeacon is a removable component which can be located anywhere in the arena. It can be encoded to emulate ammo refill locations, health packs or even battlements to shoot down enemies. More good hardware might follow soon however, for now; this is what they have.

Upon unveiling, SuperSuit will come with a mobile application which can be used to control the fitness levels and the place of the person wearing it. The application interacts with the components via Bluetooth. Other games can be downloaded through the application, and it will also allow you upgrade the device firmware. Consequently, it also lets you store player profiles and various game data. As the SuperSuit trusts on Bluetooth, monitoring will only be operative within a mileage of 30-100m, depending on the class of the built-in Bluetooth module in the absolute version of the suit.

There is more…

That’s not it. The SuperSuit smartphone application allows the parents to keep a tab on their child’s position, and they can observe their kid’s fitness data. Therefore, it is first of a kind wearable gaming stage that has been launched and has clutched some strict attention from the tech fans. No info on the pricing and obtainability of this wearable gaming platform is accessible right now.

Dhariwal and his spouse Madhumita Halder set up Wyoming-based MadRat Games that emphases on building matchless puzzles and board games. Their mystery three-games-in-one Madzzle also newly won the Parents’ Choice Prize in the United States. Dhaliwal had assumed that Madzzle functions as an educational device for kids and is the world’s first jigsaw mystery that rolls up.

SuperSuit is targeted at children, especially the ones who devote most of their time on games having screens with barely any physical activity nowadays. This platform will not only allow children and parents have entertainment away from screens however it also has the potential to grow into much more if the ecological unit of hardware and software builds up finally. Laser tag isn’t dead, in fact, tournaments are still quite widespread. SuperSuit can be considered as the sparkle needed in newest gaming technology and may just be the change people were imagining.
